POLYURETHANE TOPCOAT MILITARY AIR

The 03 Series are chemically cured, two-component polyurethane topcoats that are suitable for exterior application on aircraft and aerospace equipment. Component A contains the pigment and polyester resin. Component B is a clear, non-pigmented aliphatic isocyanate prepolymer, which acts as a hardener or curing agent for Component A. When the 03 Series polyurethane topcoats are used over MIL-PRF-23377 or MIL-PRF-85582 epoxy primers, they provide protection against weathering, humidity and salt spray. The cured films are resistant to jet fuels, lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids.

The 04 Series are chemically cured, two-component polyurethane topcoats suitable for exterior application on Military ground support equipment. Component A contains the pigment and polyester resin. When the 04 Series polyurethane topcoats are used over MIL-PRF-23377 or MIL-PRF-85582 epoxy primers, they provide protection against weathering, humidity and salt spray. This unique line of water-based coatings encompasses all of the requirements of the specification while maintaining the ultimate goal of Zero VOC. This solvent-less coating can be matched in many colors including the 595B Federal Standard Color system as well in various gloss levels. By obtaining a Zero VOC system, we have created a no odor coating that leads to cleaner global environment while eliminating the hazard of flammability during use and storage.

This high solids chemical agent resistant solvent-based epoxy primer is the staple-line of many of today's current military equipment. This primer has excellent chemical resistance and good corrosion resistance over pretreated steel substrates. This coating also maintains excellent adhesion over a variety of pretreated aluminum, steel and composite substrates. While encompassing all of the physical coatings needs, we also maintained our goal of developing a product with low VOC emissions (<420 g/l VOC). For superior results, top coating this primer is highly recommended.

CHROMATED WATER REDUCIBLE LOW DENSITY EPOXY PRIMER

44GN036 and 44GN072 are fast drying, low density, water reducible, chemically cured, high solids, epoxy-polyamide primers suitable for application on aircraft and aerospace equipment. Component A contains the pigment and polyamide resin. Component B is a clear, non-pigmented epoxy, which acts as a hardener or curing agent for Component A. When these epoxy primers are used over properly prepared substrates, they provide a corrosion inhibiting, chemical and solvent resistant film suitable for topcoat.

Fast Dry, Chrome Free Water Reducible Epoxy Primer. This line of water reducible epoxy primers offers the user a way to increase productivity while using a product that does not contain Hexavalent Chrome, Lead, Cadmium or other known toxic heavy metals. These products will reduce or eliminate the exposure risk to Chrome during application or during sanding for recoating or removal processes. These coatings have excellent chemical and corrosion resistance while maintaining excellent adhesion over a variety of pretreated aluminum and composite substrates.
